This is the story of Artful Genius…if you’re not with me, you’re against me….OK that’s a bit dramatic…but you know what I mean.
I’m interested in working with people who are ready to take that leap, ready to have some fun, try new trys, think new thinks and stomp on sandcastles to make new ones….

Use what you have
If you wait until you can ‘afford’ the right supplies you’ll never start. Cheap and cheerful means you are more likely to play.
I’ve got bucketloads of super expensive supplies I’m too scared to use for fear I will waste them!
Waste away and hang the cost!
Make time
Don’t just sigh and say “I wish I had time to be creative”, or “I don’t have time to be creative” Just flipping well schedule it in!
You can’t honestly look me in the eyes and tell me you can’t find 15-20 minutes (even 10 minutes will do) in your day? Really??? Truly?????
If you don’t make it a PRIORITY it will never happen
(trust me I know these things!)
Try new stuff
Love to write? Try poems or try and write using the first line from a kids book as a starting point…limit your options.
Always paint? Grab some coloured pencils instead. Knitting your thing? Pick up a crochet hook and YouTube some instructions for those awesome granny squares.
Be on the bleeding edge of your creativity, it keeps your mind sharp for other areas of your life too.
Don’t get comfortable. Comfortable is the enemy of a creative life
